Forensic assessments and reports

Psychological assessments and reporting for criminal, immigration and other non-criminal legal matters are available. Those include assessments relating to:

  • Section 14 applications

  • Fitness to plead/stand trial

  • Bail applications

  • Sentencing and mitigating reports

  • Risk assessments (i.e. including risk of recidivism)

  • Personality and character assessments

  • Clinical diagnosis

  • Cognitive and intellectual functioning assessments

Services are available in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. On average assessments require at least two sessions of 1-hour consultations. Specific details about amount of consultations, types of assessments, and details required to complete assessment will be provided during initial consultations. Fees for the report are calculated separately from the consultations and will be communicated around the time of commencement. Options for face to face, Telehealth and AVL are available subject to availability.

Attendance at court or the appropriate tribunal for cross-examination available subject to availability.
